I read the below message on the Frome Town forum which made me chuckle and I don't think I'll be receiving a Christmas card from this bloke!!!!!

I hate going to Hallen!!! It is a cold, miserable and desolate place and despite being very close to two motorways its virtually impossible to find. In fact the only humour is meeting up with other Robins to find out how and where they got lost to!

Their (very good) goalkeeper shouts to and cajoles his team and berates the ref and assistants all game and can be very annoying especially when they're winning, which with Hallen, is quite often!

The cold wind that comes down the Bristol channel bites into you and you just know it isn't going to be your day again.

Frome though played some good football but just could'nt finish against a hard working Hallen side who generally had 10 men behind the ball and there was a positive with the new guy, Hunt, making some decent tackles. I'm not going to give a run down of the game as Colin does a great job but just like to say we did'nt really deserve the defeat and we still look a good side, spreading play around well and sure we'll be looking to get back to winning ways come Tuesday.

Ask any fans who went about the backpass Hallen played to their keeper in the first few minutes which was so obvious to all but the Ref and his assistants. It was'nt as if he was'nt close but really bottled giving the decision our way.

Anyway a long drive home was rewarded with a trip to the Castle pub in Bradford on Avon on the way home, and with leather sofas, nice beer, real log fire and good company I finally managed to warm up and life didn't seem so bad after all! Roll on Westbury!
