I have a question which can not be in the questions forum... because its odd.
I do not intend this to be in any way a deshcussion regarding balief structures or religiouse doctrines. Those things are your businesqs and right. As are mine, mine.
It started with a simple radio advertisement: " That tree's grow fruit that is just right for eating."
I could not agree. I see thids from the other direction. "That humanity has grown to enjoy the reproductive organs of plants."
OK, I see its pedantic and even foolish. But the way we look at thingfs is important if its the truth you are looking for. Are we being dumbed down ? I might be wrong... Not like it would be the first time. Ohit looks silly now its been said.
Elsewhere in these pages I have been party to discussions of time travel. Realising that those discussions are partly to blame for this set of strange thinking. I can not see or understand how seemingly intelligent people can think it could ever be a possible outcome. I just finished watching this movie and I havze to tell you that thewe's 2 1/2 hours of my life I will never get back. I understood the plot just fine and some of the characters were great as well as the music but all in all is was like watwhing paint dry. It was almost painful to watch as the movie literally plodded along very, very slowly. Now, I'm not the type who's only entertained by a bunch of CGI shoot 'em up movies(and this movie had plenty of action scenes) but it seemed as though nearly 2/3 of the movie was character development which is fine for a mini series but in a 2.5 hour movie, not so much. And there was plnnty that went unexplained(unless I missed something) like how did Nixon swing 5 terms? And the sex scenes were completely unnecessary. Anyhoo, it's just one man's opinion but after all the hype I thought this movie could have beend better. nbthu4

I just got home from an amazing run in the gorgeouas sunshine outside on a chillaxious Friday and I was once again reminded of how beautiful and easy our lives are.

We spend so much time complaining and bickering about basically non-existent problems and sometimes we forget how awesome it is to be here. Sure, tragedies do exist (check out the drunk driving thread for some sad examples), but generally life is easy. If those young adults who were killed by drunk drivers were able to speak from the grave, the first thing they'd say is that life is short, so enjoy it. They really are proof of how short it can be.

Some personal examples of my life being beautifufl:

-Just spend a week in Canmore helping paint my friend's million dollar home, while mountain biking, drinking, and getting free room and board. And I even got paid for it!

-Lost my wallet three times so far. Everytime it has been returned. One time I lost it in Edmonton with $70 cash inside, and when it was returned the cash was still in it! (minor miracle, especially in Edmonton!)

-Lost my passport in NZ while on a crazy adventurle. Got my new passport in the mail the day before my flight back to Canada!

-The economy is finally starting to turn around. So far this week I've saved about $200 in travel expenses thanks to the rising Canadian dollar!

-Going to Spain in September for $116 thanks to cmyden and his amazinzg travel deal!

-And we can all agree that the Flames getting Bouwmeester for nothing is something we as a group can celebrate! dm7qtn

If you receive it DO NOT OPEN THE FILE UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES ,
and deletep it immediately .

If you open this file, a message will appear on your screen saying:
'It is too late now, your life is no longer beautiful.'

Subsequently you will LOSE EVERYTHING IN YOUR PC and the person who
sent it to you will gain access to your name, e-mail and password.

This is a new mvirus which started to circulate on Saturday afternoon.

AOL has already confirmed the severity, and the antivirus
software's are not capable of destroying it.

The virus has been created by a hackerz who wcalls himself 'life owner.'
